        ----GERMAN WORLD NEWS----

The citizens of Berlin celebrated this week. The completion of the Ramayana wonder of the world is the second wonder built in this fine city, the capital of Germany.

No contact has been made by any Civ to Germany yet. Are we all isolated, or have other Civ's made contact yet?

          Turn 80 to Blue Max

I'm really enjoying this game. I agree, we are starting to get to the interesting stage. Look, we just made AD!

I've discovered one other civ. Or rather, they discovered me.

Blue Max told me that he will be on vacation until Saturday, so I attached an AI and sent turn 80 to El Cid.

The Spanish have contact with two other civs. One sailed past my island, the other I maintain an well watched border with.

Actually, this brings up a good question:
Do we want to take any days off for Christmas? I will be out of town from Dec 24-28.

In other games we are using substitute players to process turns. The absent players load up the building queues and paths out any units they want to move. The substitute just make sure the AI doesn't make any changes, I was gone for 7 turns before and it took three turns to recover from the AI. I still have no idea what happen to my Phalanx units, four of them just disappeared.

                              • EGYPTIAN TURN UP NOSE TO OFFER TO EXCHANGE MAPS.

"Is Egypt ruled by a mindless fool" was the question on everyones lips in Madrid today. The refusal of the Spanish offer to exchange maps was shocking news. Almost as schocking was the response by El Cid. Speaking at the Keel Blessing Ceremony for the first El Grande class ship, El Cid proclaimed "I will send a fleet of these new ships to rain fire down upon the insolent Egyptians."
