I found this in some thread in the strategy forum. There is a wealth of information in there if your willing to look for it.
--------------------------------------------
1)The question about capturing screen shots.
A friend who is working as a graphics designer taught me this.
To capture a screen shot of The entire screen to memory during The game:
Press The Prt Sc key on your keyboard. This is The Grey key just above The insert key.
To edit this screen shot:
Open a program which deals with graphics. I personally use Adobe PhotoShop. And import The screen shot to this program simply by pasteing The Screen shot from memory to The image you create here in The graphics program. Then edit away all you want.
To transfer this edited image to a document or whatever:
Cut and paste just as you would with plain text.
---------------------------------------------
What I would like to know, where does the computer dump the graphic after you hit the print screen shot? I've hit the button but can't find where it went. It doesn't give you an option on where to put it. Does anybody know that?

Thanks Don,
I knew this trick, but I though that would not work with CTP since it uses direct-X. Also I have to quit CTP, before I can paste on the graphix program, since my stupid Win95, does not allow me to change applications while running CTP (Besides my graphix pgm are installed in Win-NT anyway, so I have to save with paint and reboot....8^( ).
The screen is stored at the clipboard file, inside windows. It can be seen running the clipboard viewer program.

turn 18 to klair
I'm sorry to inform that, neither shift+ptrscn, nor ctrl+prtscn, nor Alt+prtscn works....
As I suspected, by the time I step out of CTP, the clipboard is empty...8^(
I'll try a professional scren capture that I have at work, and let you know....

the clipboard is internal to win 95 and not a file per se. It can be seen using the clipboard viewer.
You may not have clipboard viewer installed in your win 95 (it is not installed by default) but if you have the original disk you can add it.
Anyway, at least on my machine, prtscn doesn't work with CTP. (It does work with other programs, including desktop, but who cares?)
