      Hey Sophanthro,

Did you get an indication from all players concerning the times that they will be doing their turns, and if you did, can you post it here? It will help us to plan when to check our emails and also when we need to get the files to the next player, so as to not screw up his schedule.

      M-W-F
I'll be playing at 7-10PM U.S. CST - if possible, get me the files by 3PM U.S. CST so I can download it from work. (its a whole lot quicker for me there)

      T-Th
I can play at 9-10PM U.S. CST - if possible, get me the files by 3PM U.S. CST so I can download it from work. (its a whole lot quicker for me there)

      Weekends
      Sat Afternoon - Early evening
      Sun Afternoon

      Obviously, schedules will change...
Yes, let's be optimistic until we have reason to be otherwise...No, let's be pessimistic until we are forced to do otherwise...Maybe, let's be balanced until we are convinced to do otherwise. -- DrSpike, Skanky Burns, Shogun Gunner

        Hey Hexagonian
I never Tied down specific times for anyone
Fire Red Ram is the person in front of you and Sophix(me) after you.

And since every one said sometime during the evening this is only a rough estimate
and no one is tied to keep it, but the game will move faster if we do

The only Rule is take your turn within 24 hours of it being sent or post an reason for why you cant on the forum.

Only apply this schedule if you think it will help play

This is assuming one turn a day per player.
Times done according to time zone, and is a weekday schedule
        Sophix 11pm-12am EST (GMT 4am-5am)
Shavlor 12am-2 am EST (GMT 5am-7am)
        Jon 7pm - 9pm GMT (EST 2pm - 4pm)
        Demosthenes 9pm - 11pm GMT (EST 4pm - 6pm)
        Fire Red Ram 7pm - 9pm EST
        Hexagonian 8pm - 10pm CST

For the Weekend I guess just play your turns earlier.

                Took My Turn
                Turn 1 ===> Shavlor

Assyria greets the Roman people and will soon send diplomats to Rome to negotiate terms, which will allow the Romans and the Great Civilization of the Assyrians to live side by side in peace and harmony.

The first Assyrian to lay eyes on a Roman was Sencharif watchmen on the ARS Sophocracy. He reports that the Romans are odd looking people with blood red noses. "The first time time I saw one I could hardly help myself from laughing" Relplies Sencharif.

Nineveh is discovered to be the center of the Universe, it has long been suspected by has now been proved through certain measurements, the chief wisemen was quoted as saying, details of the proof have not been published; but is believed that its central principle rests on the fact that the world is indeed flat.

The great empire of the Romans have seen with their own eyes the puny culture of the Assyrians which shall serve as a wonderful tributary to the great Romans.

Mighty Australians, we the humble Welsh wish you well in your winemaking pursuits. Indeed, should you produce a fine chardonnay, then we may well be interested in purchasing some from you. Not for the celebrations of our inevitable glory, but to aid us in our quest.

We have the songs, and shortly the wine, bring on the women....

                        Greetings All,
While waiting for my trusted couriers to bring to me the daily business of ruling my mighty empire, I thought I would relate to you, the other rulers of this world, what I discovered in my palace today. I found an ancient scroll that told me of a peculiar legend...

''A legend that spoke of a mighty ruler that will arise from the Mayan people. A ruler, wise, resourceful, enigmatic... The hearts of all the common people of the world - the workers, laborers, scientists, traders and merchants - will be with him, though they serve other kings and kingdoms. Though the other rulers will seek to tear him down, ultimately this Mayan ruler will prevail - through fire and sword, if need be. His rule will bring peace to a fractured world.''

''Interesting'', I thought... Don't know if it was meant for me.

By the way, greetings Demosthenes, Ruler of the Welsh.

To attach an AI if the player is absent for no apparent reason within 24 hours.

This is command in chat window (to get there press the ' key) tyoe /attach number of player.
                            i.e. /attach 1

this will attach an AI to me Sophix

                            To unattach type /dettach #.

Methinks FireRedRam got the dreaded 'plains setup with no production tiles' for his first turn.
