Does anyone know if there's some way to keep an AI from taking over a human's civ when that person loses their connection in a multiplayer internet game?! The AI always screw up my civ!!! Isn't there some option or file modification to just pause the game until the player returns? Please help! I thought for sure I heard this is possible before. GRRR!!!

Let me handle this one, Don. I had someone set me to AI in one of my PBEM games, and the AI promptly built cities with my settlers in crappy locations when i was sending them to more ideal locations. And in answer to your next question - no, the AI also ignores advanced movement orders which i used to try and tell the AI not to interfere.
The only possible solution i can think of is one of the mods, such as Sophanthro's, which makes the AI smarter. I'm thinking that if you play multiplayer with this mod, the AI may not make so many stupid decisions on your behalf.
