I was playing a single play game using the quick start for single and hot seat games.

I played this game for a few turns and then saved. When I reloaded my musketeers changed to lawyers, diplomats to legions, archers to triremes. Outside the cities, the units appearance stayed the same just the units tab info and pic changed.
I noticed all the ai diplomats lost most of their life. In another game, mine were the same.
It seems fine until I save and then reload a saved game.
A hotseat game was the same.
What could be the problem?

Sounds like the same trouble that was fixed in the PBEM Quick Start. I'll release an update with the fix.

For a quick fix for the Quick Start Single and Hotseat Game replace the units.txt and uniticon.txt in the

scenarios\dutcheese\scen0001\default\gamedata

with a copy of the same files located in:

ctp_data\default\gamedata

This icon trouble was fixed for the PBEM version.

Fixed icon mix up after loading a saved game when playing Quick Start for Single and Hotseat Games.

Also adjusted the readme file.
