How to play using a direct serial cable ? Can't find the option

Hi,
is it possible to play CTP with 2 computers using a serial direct cable ?

I can't find the option.
Step by step instructions are welcome.

Answer is yes but its slow. Have you tried any other multiplay connect games before? If so it shouldn't be any different.

You need to set things up for an IPX connection though.

You know, network interface cards (NICs) can be gotten for about $15US each? I'm talking Windows 95/98 plug-n-play cards. All you have to do is install the IPX/SPX (that's NW Link) protocol on each system and you should be able to play network games......
