Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I want to start a new PBEM game with 4-6 players using the Celestial Dawn mod and improved AI mod.
Also I want to have about 15-20 civilizations in total.
This game will be quite different from other PBEM games.
"Rabit strategy" won't be that efficent due to the whole world gets populated fast with lots of civilizations.
Expanding your empire has to be done with war, tactic and diplomacy rather than just zerging with settlers.
Another important change is that Theocracy is not overpowered but rather just one government in line with the others.
Read the attached file what Celestial Dawn mod has changed.
Most noteable changes are probalby that Theocrazy is now more balanced and could get it's old name, Theocracy, back =)

See attached file for more details about the mod.
Map settings can be discussed.
Anyone interested?
How is this going to effect our PBEM game?
With this "Mod" will you be able to switch between our game and the others?
I am just curious as I dont care for playing with Mods unless I have a chance to check them out, as I am sure you can understand why
I know that lots of initial settigns are stored in the game file. The CD mods has changed lots of them. I don't know if CD mod is required for others participating or not.
But, the CD mod is started as a scenario so if you install it it will end up in an own directory and not affect normal games. It has to be started by selecting "scenario" when starting a new game.
Math, yes. I just tried to start a new single player game with 30 civs, and it is working fine. But the colors sucks with 30 civs, there are lots of green colored civs. =/ Thats why I want to limit it to around 15-20 so it will be easier to see who is who.
Whole world was populated when I reached city 12-15. I now have my own middleage war with 5 neighbour civilizations =)
Due to the limit in expansion rate you will also have to play each age for a longer time and you will have to learn all troops in each age much more I suspect.

ok..I cut this out of the readme file you attached..read this and explain to us how this doesnt effect another game since it "overwrites" files, of which a scenario doesnt?
I. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
· What is the “Play CTP as it Should Be” Mod?
The “Play CTP as it Should Be” Mod is a user-created modification for Civilization: Call to Power. It is not a scenario – this mod alters many of the game variables with the purpose of:
I am just curious because I play online and sometimes files dont match up and it is usually because someone has altered files, you know what I mean?
@Dymites
i already succeeded in making a single player game with 30 civs, but are you sure it will work with several players.
each time i go to more than 8 civs and select PBEM or hotseat, its back to 8 civs again.

Troll. it seems like the help file is a bit outdated then.
The last version actually is installed as a scenario pack and yes it alters the standard game files but those that are altered are placed in the scenario directory.
Hmm seems like CTP is unable to support more than 9 civs for multiplayer=/
Any way, I still want to start a game up with the CD mod =)

My illusions are crushed. It seems like PBEM only accept standard settings and no mod. CTP just keeps crashing if I start any mod =/

I heard a loud voice, I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! It's rider was named Death, and hades was following close behind him. They were given power over one fourth of the earth to kill by the sword, famine and plague.
