Conflict with Incas proceeds. The Spanish ruler has settled into his role and tailored the Spanish Nation more to his liking, and is thus not as desperate as when he first sat on the seat of power.

That's not to say that if any other nations would like to have a go at the Incans the Spanish would be annoyed

I was really hopping to donate some technologies as agreed. Where is the problem between Incas and Spaniards mow?

Native Americans, your battleships are much to far to the west. See is wild there and they can be lost any time. I suggest immediate return to home harbour.

After repeated attempts by Spanish attaches to secure agreement for the continuing exchange of techs/gold for stolen cities, no word was heard from the Incas.

This intransigence was taken as a refusal for further negotiation, and what is worse, a renegging on previous agreements.

Consequently the Spanish Defence Forces were given their heads to do as they had been longing since the loss of their fathers, mothers and older brothers and sisters in the atrocities that occurred some decades previously...

However, the valiant Spanish have met with stiff opposition from the devious Incas, and have been as yet unable to divest the Incas of the Spanish cities. Supply lines from the Incan mainland remain entirely open, allowing a steady flow of Incan defenders into the Spanish cities.
