The baby
The baby was born at 11:22am Singapore Time (3:22am GMT) yesterday (6 Feb 2003) by C-section.

We had actually tried for a natural birth, but 11 hours after the water bag burst, my wife was only dilated 5 cm, so there was no other choice.

Thank God, that all went well in the end, and mother and baby are both fine.

The baby weighs 3.86 kg (over 8 pounds, I believe)...so she's a big one. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that she's a girl.

I'm back home for a shower after 33hours at the hospital.

Maybe I'll post a pic tomorrow. If I remember to bring home the digital cam.

I am on the second story so to speak, my son and daughter - in - law are 3 days over due with our grandson Cameron Tyler..or as am referring to him as C.T....I cant wait to be a Grandpa...oh times flies by....

I'm only back home for a little while again, and then it's off to the hospital to accompany my wife. She's finally beginning to try walking after a day of rest, but the wound still hurts like crazy, so she needs me to be around.
