A temporary (hopefully) hiatus from CtP PBEM

As some of you have noticed I have been lacklustre in my turn sending.

Here's why:

I accidentally installed 3.1 software on my computer (it was 1am and I installed the wrong floppy).

Thus I corrupted major files and I cannot open any games runing from the CD (including CtP). And even the No-CD hack won't help me. The files are so corrupted even a reformat is out of the question, as it doesn't actually clear the hard drive. I have a solution, but it'll take some time. And quite frankly this computer is so old I've had enough of it, and I'm raising the necessary funds for a new monster.

Thus, I will have to withdraw from all CtP PBEM games, and it may be sometime before I return to play.

Put in boot disk and type fdisk /mbr.
Then fdisk to remove old partion then create new one. Then format your drive all traces of 3.1 will be gone I assure you.
