  • Birdman,
I had 72 cities at the end. I had more but I disbanded some of my smaller home cities and disbanded some of your cities that I conquered to try to stay near the Fascist 70 city limit. I had a lot of Fascists in the field, I couldn't afford to switch governments.

If you want another chance Birdman, you got it! Maybe a dual-duel format? That would even the playing field... but you had a pretty good starting position last time! If you look at our last game, I started with nothing but forests without rivers for leagues upon leagues!

        • does someone have a list of the maximum city number under each government ?
i thought it was 10 for tyranny, 40 for theocracy and all governments described as 'useful for medium sized civs' and unlimited for those described as 'useful for large civs'

          but apparently that isnt true.
can someone explain to me ?

Lemon - no thank you, I say the two last drinks have been too bitter for my taste - but a piece of sugarcandy might be fine.

                    thank you.
btw, is the multinational republic that one where you need space flight for ?
its called so differently in the german version ...

Long way to go dear Ber (I hope (and believe )!). But sooner or later one of the challenge games will result in a spacefight.

I do not believe, that all games will be finished in medival/modern age.

I hope those "lucky" players will write a lot when times comes.

                          • Space in CTP? You think that is "lucky" Birdman? I don't. I played Gavrushka until that age and it wasn't the best part of the game, IMHO. A bunch of Space Fighters destroying each other in space while polluting the hell out of the planet upon launch and re-entry. Even after Gaia Controller, it was just a war of attrition. I'm sure others have different view points about this ---- but to me, the space battle in CTP is just a matter of accounting strategy-- not military strategy.

Well, in this game where I'm in north pole, found my cities on river over ice, with just 6 goods in 38 cities vs your cities found on river over forest with a lot of goods maybe it take me more time to reach your land and destroy you as usual, but if you want I can wait until I reach space ships to start the attack.
