Turns to Birdman, Paulno1, and Lung.
I had to take it back.

All my old veterans was looking forward to spend their last days sitting outside the small cantinas at the port, with the sun in their faces, playing domino and drinking redwine. And then you came at kicked them out.

What a terrible unfriendly attitude among the civilian than brought.... but they are slowly calming down now.
First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win.

Birdman, I know you had to take it back. What kind of a leader would just let an enemy come and sit in their port without a fight? Good fight

next turn I reach jurisprudence... with 100 SCI each turn and with no goods in this desert (as keeping in 4th all the game) I think Bird will have a small chance to win this game

Don't be so innocent looking! Well, now he's a dead slaver. Such a shame.

so when exactly is a terrain improvement like a listening post under your control ?
Baal: "You dare mock me ?"
O'Neill: "Baal, c'mon, you should know ... Of course I dare mock you."

Good question. Apparently, it happened when Birdman recaptured the city that allowed my building of the listening post in the first place. I'm kind of confused here though, because right after he recaptured the city, the listening post was still under my control. Then, two turns later, it reverted over to him, but I could still see his units and the land was darkened like I didn't have the listening post anymore.... Strange. Maybe Birdman moved a unit on top of the listening post???

                            • I this case I placed a worker on the tile to have it change ownership.

It might also be possible with a unit, but then I think it depends if the listening post normally would be within your "control". Just as roads, you do not "own" the roads i.e. you can't extend the roads in the direction you want in an enemy nations before you conquer a city. Only then you take control with the roads near that city.
