I was talken about altered filies. That rush buying trick is used in some mp games and is a rule to be mentioned at teh start. But the apolyton people are very anti this trick

I wont play pbem because you only get a turn every 3 too 4 days

Yes I can say I have never altered files. Can you say you have never used altered files, or used ramping, rush buying without other players kowledge and or used this program or others to win games? I conceded with the best sportsman ship against you, being 95% certain you had cheated. What did i find when i looked at the map, you had 5000000 gold. My land was far better too. You had a pathetic looken civ with 100 more sol than me.

The second game was far more obvious. It was a 3 player. I had a built up a resounding lead over teh other 2 . So being the great sportsman that i am i volunteered to to make it 2 vs 1. Even still i was getting further ahead. Untill the otehr player said i wanna concede paul is too far ahead. Then good old blackice said no ranking doesnt mean everything. Then i told grafxfx bet ya his ranking goes straight up from now on. What do you know it did we went from half my ranking too 50 % more in under 10 turns.

Yes the second game the test for the program which you use and I have do doubt about it. You seem to think you are the only one with saves Paul Oh BTW it was not me that said that...Your memory is lacking. It was twenty turns. Paul explain to the good folk here how without mills and mines you had 60 sols? Saves Paul I have them, this is very consistant with all your games. You have 45 or more sols you should not have let alone pw and gold. You admit you use ramping and all other forms of cheats agreed to or not if you are losing. Would you like me to send you that convesation? Paul you cheat you add pw and gold with each and every turn period. This has now been confirmed period.

So eventually i just left, knowing he had cheated. So i looked at the saves and he allways had his pw's on 70% to 90% and was building a sol in every city every turn at times.
and the next day after that game he starts this thread

if you want to look at the saves just ask i probably should post them here i guess

By the way GL died 15 months ago get over it, due too most ctpers retiring and the administrators being about as active as the average american citizen. All the top players on that are still the best players no question, either me or yoda is the best player probably him

Too true we now have the very answers needed to show how these so-called-greats have been cheating all the way to thier own self gratification. I now have it confirmed from several top players this program has been in use for some time. People like Paul have it down to the gold peice after years experience using it. The gig is up finally we know what they have been doing.

Look troll you were not in the loop when testing of the players and or use of the program was on. Many people had doubts about which side of the fence you were on. That you have made clear here thankyou, it would seem the doubts were well founded.

That ramping and rush buying thing is all irrelevant in pbem anyway, because ultimately you can just look at someone elses turn if you wanted to cheat. Which kinda defeats the point of playing

There are few multiplayer games that i know of without bugs or game winning exploits in. Until they get patched of course. (if they get patched)

Im sure the people who made OGC for counter-strike gave the same reason at first as the person who made that hack program for ctp1 did.

The biggest difference is it is moderated... None of you few GL cheats will play if you are watched closely. They have done their math real good here. They know as we have seen exactly how much and when, it has been tested and they know it to be true...

It a shame we can't moderate Web games. The only way to stamp out cheating is dissolve the Internet rankings, since they mean nothing with cheats. PBEM is succesful because of the fairness, and the versatility of it. From 1 on 1s, 2 on 2s, the SuperLeague, Lungmatch, Challenges, Happy Killers, and Huge brawls.

I like PBEM because it is more creative than Multiplayer. It's fairer. I like the diplomacy, and it's like real life. Go cheat and win for all I care. I don't play online anyway. As long as we have a strong community, and good, hardworking, honest people here, which I believe most of us are, I will stay and give my service to the community.
