            • Nuke, we are playing turn 142, played and sent to Aeroprinz on the 3rd by me

Stojan, perhaps David and I could contribute the initial 10000 gold by 5000 gold each.

Mayans are glad, that all who benefit in past will help Japanese. Here is the final deal. As soon as we receive first half (10.000) gold, and all willing can sent their sum separately, peace will be between Mayans and Japanese. We then expect remaining 10.000 in following 10 turns and technology by your choice in 15 turns.
After fulfilment of our humble demands, permanent peace will be called.
I accept these terms. I have gifted all of my gold to you(5000) and am hoping that some other peace-loving nation(s) can assist with the rest. I am doing my best to rebuild my economy so that I can gift another 10000 to you in 10 turns.

I humbly request that the Mayans return the 3 cities taken last turn, as a gesture of your will for peace.

                -David

Sound reasonable in Irish ears - but on the other hand. We are only a very small nation of no importance in this world .

People of liberated cities are dancing on the streets (forbidden before) in joy. They have unanimously decided never to return under oppressive government of priests. It's people's will and we, The people's republic of Maya, will respect it.

Our will for peace is long known and was again proved with stopping our liberation campaign.

We also expect from Japanese government, beside fulfillment of agreed terms, their peace declaration and expedition of all weapons of mass destruction.

                    • I thought any city that had been captured during the operations would be handed to their original rulers...

Isn't 20.000 gold, 1 technology, 15 trade routes and 3 cities a bit exaggerated for... an unimportant tech stolen?

And where the hell is the turn?
Still haven't figure out where it is?

Well, we surely know what price to demand in the future in case of violations of "international laws" !

500 pieces of the purest gold have been handed over to a representative of the great mayan nation this afternoon.
