  • Yes, it seems like a good idea to put an AI player in the Blue slot.

        • why 5 and 8?
shouldn't places be closer for even starting points
          like 4 and 5, 5 and 6 or so?

          • no, places 5 and 8 differ only slightly. from first place to the last there are decreasing probabilities of starting at a river (=good starting position). it seems to me that the probs between 5 and 8 are much closer than even 1 and 3.

also, i dont like neighboured numbers because that will almost certainly lead to neighboured places on the map, which will always cause an earlier military conflict instead of peaceful build up and exploration.

on the other hand there is a good chance that positions 5 and 8 will also be quite neighboured, because the positions are not placed "on one straight line" onto the map.

so in my view it increases gaming fun to not initially know whether you will be forced into direct conflict or should rather focus on your economy.

            • That australian kangoorurider made the LE just the same turn as I - but he came first.

Anywayl, I could exchange my efforts to a factory

I hope he keeps that wonder in a good shape, so it is still working, when I take the city from him later

20:18 danish time (same day) McMax vs Rick O'Clik (Turn 14)

That is as long as they vote yellow for themselves while playing a one-one with me.

I agree the options and I think you'll start the game ricketyclik.
