Turn 171 to The Bird Man

A source within the Assyrian Ministry of Science disclosed that a major breakthough was near on solving the world pollution problem.

Let's see; I'll have Gaia Theory three turns before the predicted disaster, I have a wonder that costs the same as the Gaia Controller scheduled to be completed two turns before the predicted disaster. But I have no areas that would be affected by the predicted disaster, having gotten rid of the few swamps I had. So I have little incentive to complete the Gaia Controller. Now I did make an effort to be able to complete the project, including researching technoloies that have taken more time to complete than others. Other sacrifices have been made to keep on this tight schedule. I am the only one able to complete this great project, but gain the least from it.

                Is it really worth it

Nææææ, I wouldn't loose much either I think - maybe one big city. But a little river or four in my 2 great deserts would be lovely.

                  BTW: Turn to Maestro.

Well, you can get rid of the dead tiles that destroy even hills and goods or city tiles that can't be fixed
                    Usually ultra-violet radiation comes first

Turn to Maestro 12 hours ago.

Unfortunately a minor flood has occured.

The most strange thing was, that it was followed by both a changed pattern of rain and obviously a minor earthquake.

Where once the mighty Nile ran, there is nothing but sand and small rocks. No fertile controlled floodings will ever occur here again. Farms are cut away from the river and cannot be improved - they turn to dust. A reel nasty land now.

A new small river are now running parallel with the Meditaranian Ocean.

Central of Australia is as dry as it is used to be.

                            Turn to Maestro.

The Zulu counsil have received a diplomatic note from the americans.

Our answer is: First you offer is much too low, secondly you will have to release the zulu destroyer at let it sail down the the coastline of either Alaska or Kamchatka. The latter shall be done before we even start negotiating the price for what you wish.

You have no need to be afraid, that our destroyer shall reveal any secrets of America - we already know the exact position of every city and most camped units of yours.

I think you do not need to block the assyrian ship either - they have also the ability to flight through your spaceterritory as they wish.

If that's so then what exactly is your destroyer doing there? It took you much time to move it around Siberia on a long and useless trip with the only purpose to explore the area so save your comments for yourself
I do not violate or harass your territory so you better not do so too...
I though our relations had been improved

I had left a small spot for you to pass through... Didn't work? I moved my longship one more tile. Pass the Bering straits from the Asian side and after you're done sail into international waters avoiding passing near the Asian or American coastline.

And please both Zulus and Brazilians refrain from violating my air space by sending space vessels above America through space...

Congratulations to both Zulus and Brazilians for building the first sea colonies
I hope that you appetite for sea colonization won't grow much and build any underwater city near American coasts.

                              Turn 178 to Swissy.
