It is the file association Hunter! I had the same problem... obviously put your file directory structure in - the command (under windows explorer - view options file types) CSG is D:\SIERRA\ctp_program\ctp\civctp.exe -l"%1 - and the action is obviously open if you have to set it up

Did you apply all the patches? You would need Keygens senario patch for all to work.

The new version of CTP has new file names.... I know someone else has problem with as servers.dat had new name.... I suggest you try to create a PBEM yourself, and see if turns you create work - then you will narrow it down a bit at least..

I can't help you with your problem except to say I'm running XP and everything works OK, so it's not the OS that is your problem.

Holy Sh*T thats wierd..... you are right... that was a cut and paste from my file association - BUT it is obviously in activision...

Hunter, I still have not got a full understanding of what the problem is.... You can now double click on a turn and it loads CTP but not the turn..... THEN you don't have the association quite right, - the association is telling it to open CTP but not passing the turn into the program..... Can someone else please (with a win 2000) go into explorer, and check out what their file association says.... It really has to be that.... TRUST ME!! - The problem is I am Win95, so there will be differences.

                      I have
                      C:\Program Files\Activision\Civilization-Call To Power\ctp_program\CTP\CivCTP.exe -l"%1"

Seems to be some kind of switches after the exe

Ah...in 95 there was no double quote at the end.... I am sure it will be vital for parsing - Lets just hope it works

NOTE You must cut the section that applies and paste it into association that first character is not a 1 (one ) or I ( letter I) - I don't even have it on my keyboard! (russian keyboard)

I wonder is cyrillic posts on this site??
