What about a thread for CtP-Multiplaying related subjects beside turn posts and new challenges? For discussions regarding multiplaying experiences, news, questionings, chatting, etc. Things that have to do with our community. All these organized in one thread instead of posting several threads. That could decrease the amount of new threads in the forum too.
Off-Topic subjects should be avoided though as Apolyton already has and Off-Topic forum for this kind of stuff.
Flames and spamming should be considered forbidden also.
I might post some additional rules in the future as well.
On my part I can't remember clearly how I end up here and joined my first CtP PBEM game two years ago.
I think I followed a link and then I carefully examined all CtP related stuff.
First the CtP front page and then I came across this forum.
I think I was too curious and excited from what I saw in the forum and decided to give it a shot. I end up with two PBEM games, both deathmatches. I won the first one making it the first CtP PBEM game ever finished in Apolyton
So why the hell am I still here?
I guess I am addicted to the community
Accually what kept me for so long was not CtP itself but the great fun I had conducting diplomacy and role playing with real players and somehow simulate reality in some degree. Also to be part of this community and helping it had a great impact on my decision to remain here.
To be honest during the past two years I was near leaving mostly from boredom and limited time a couple of times but you kept me without know it
OK, and my stubbornness to finish what I start no matter what, even with delay

What made you join a CtP PBEM game?
Finaly why the hell are you still here?
I'm hear after getting lost wandering around the Mac forums... I'd been hooked on CivII ever since the first demo was available, when CtP came out, it was the obvious next step... same with SMAX... finally, after beating all three I went in search of fellow Mac users who played the game... I ended up in the Mac SMAX forums where one of two games running there I'm in.
After posting desperately in the other Mac threads Faded Glory and some others wandered there to point out that Macs and PCs could be friends...
How I ended up here...
What made me join a game? Because that's the only reason I came to Apolyton in the first place!
And I'm still a newbie, but I like the threads, I like the players, so I'll be here for a long time to come.
I'm not conceited, conceit is a fault and I have no faults...
Civ and WoW are my crack... just one... more... turn...
Well I was dragged kicking and screaming into the World of Civ2 by my wife, who had played Civ1 back at home for many years... We bought a couple of copies, and played head to head.... her enthusiasm waivered (she grew up) and I went for CTP, and found the Forums when patching CTP.. I played online a bit before I started PBEM, I still do both... But they are totally different games...
Could Faded be phychic
or maybe I just hear the same thing
My first online game in years was last weekend or 2 was with Faded and thats all I heard from the Lady of the House
So one guy turns to another guy and says "T.A.I." His friends says "What?" He responds by saing "Think about it;)"
It is a pretty selfish game... I think, even though my wife introduced me to the game, she was well pi**ed at the time I spent online on a weekend... Thats why when I move down to London in the Summer, I will no longer be able to play online..
Solver you topped the new online gaming thread.....
