Lungmatch 3.2 - Part III

It looks like Lungmatch 4.2 is DEAD!!!
Of course, this means that two players from each group will make the semis, meaning that all but one of the diehards will make it and the losers from groups 1 & 2 have long since buggered off!
In any case, that makes this game interesting as for Mobius and FG, this has become a fight to the death! BTW, where the hell is Mobius? He mentioned something about coming over to the land of cold, crisp ales, but i've heard nothing in ages! Is he coming back to pbem? I hope so, as i can't play for him in the semis!
As far as i can remember, Mobius was eliminated about turn 97 in LM3.1? If so, Mobius must win this game to make the semis unless he can knock out FG in about 7 turns or less If Mobius does win and FG comes second, placing each player in group 3 on 2 points, FG will lose on a countback by virtue of not having won a game. Does this make sense to you guys?
Remebering that for the final, the two winners of the semis automatically go through with the remaining place to be taken by the player who otherwise lasts the longest, the real cutthroat part of the tournament is yet to commence
With the semis to be made of Swissy, Keygen, Lung, Max Webster and Tweety plus either Mobius or Faded Glory, it promises to be pbem of the highest quality i.e. ruthlessness

------------------------------
An Australian guy goes into a bar in the Greek Islands. Jill, the Australian barmaid takes his order and notices his Australian accent. Over the course of the night they talk quite a bit. At the end of the night he asks her if she wants to have sex with him.
Although she is attracted to him she says no. He then offers to pay her $200 for the deed. Jill is travelling the world and because she is short of funds she agrees. The next night the guy turns up again and after showing her plenty of attention throughout the night he asks if she will sleep with him again for $200. She figures in for a penny in for a pound - and it was fantastic the night before - so she agrees. This goes on for 5 nights.
On the sixth night the guy comes into the bar, but this night he orders a beer and just goes and sits in the corner. Jill is disappointed and thinks that maybe she should pay him more attention.
She goes over and sits next to him. She asks him where he is from and he tells her Melbourne.
"So am I" she says. "What suburb in Melbourne." "Glen Iris" he says.
"That's amazing" she says, "so am I - what street?"
"Cameo street" he says."
"This is unbelievable" she says, "what number?"
He says "Number 20" and she is astonished.
"You are not going to believe this" she says, "I'm from number 22 and my parents still live there!"
"I know" he says "your father gave me $1,000 to give you!"
He who drinks Australian - thinks Australian!

Turn 81 to BirdBrain 36 hours ago, who replied later and said he would play it in 5-7 hours, so he probably already has.

Funnily enough, when i first started playing CTP, i avoided mountains like the plague as they were of little value in Civ2. I would ultimately be to my severe detriment
Hey, Tweety, you better make hay while Mobius is away. His amateurish sub just doesn't kick arse in the same way

Your right. In Civ2 they were not good. tho an extra shield and all, it would usaully make no little difference. But Mountains in this one are a must.
