An enormous palace sits atop a cliff surrounded by natures beauty. In front of it lies the blue ocean, stretching off into the horizon to meet with the clear blue sky. Behind the palace lie the enormous and wild forests of Prussia, adorning the valleys of the snow capped mountains.

The Palace itself stands out like a beautiful pearl; a vision of beauty in and of itself. Built entirely of intricately carved white marble, and surrounded with the most colorfull of flowers and the prettiest of fountains... Its pathways are studded with precious stones, and the white marble domes adorned at the top with steeples of gold. Dozens of servants are busy gardening, cleaning and feeding the birds, while the occupants of the palace, sit below on the soft sand of the beach at the foot of the cliff, arm in arm, watching the sun set in the distance.

"I had thought once", said the beautiful woman, as she layed nestled close to her husband, "that you would soon tire of this, and leave for Moscow again."
She turned to face him, "What keeps you here? I know you love your people, and I know you still wish to lead them. Yet you stay here with me, cut off from the world. Do you not wish to lead the Empire you have created?"

Czar Thor's expression did not change as he continued to watch the sea gulls circling over the sea. After a moment, he spoke, "Its true, what you say. Sometimes I do wonder what it would be like if I returned to Moscow. But why should I go? ...... Valentina, you know... Russia is a great land and all her sons are capable and strong."

The Czar's hand moved to stroke his wife's golden hair but his expressions did not change as he continued to stare off into the distance. "I have done all I could have done. The day I left Moscow, leaving the reigns of power in Stalin's hands, I knew that Russia would not only be able to defend itself, but also to feed and house its children. I appointed Stalin as my Prime Minister because he was an able and wise leader and I am certain that whoever he appointed will be just as wise and just as capable as he was."
"Just because I am Czar, it does not mean, that I cannot let my people govern themselves.... In fact, that is exactly why they love me. They enjoy a life of plenty, for not a single Russian will ever sleep hungry or without shelter. They have an able leader, who keeps Russia's armies strong, and industries productive. There is Russia itself with its bountiful and forrests, rivers, mountains and plains. There is peace and prosperity throughout the world. How will my presence in Moscow help in anyway?"

Czarina Valentina, smiled as she searched her husbands expressions, wanting him to turn and look at her, and as if by magic he turned to look at her with a smile of his own. "You are not much of a liar Thor, I know why you stay here with me, even though you want to go back to Moscow."

"Then why do you ask me if you already know the answer.", his smile changing into a mischievous grin.

"Because I wanted to see what you would say..."

"Truly though Valentina, I will return to my Throne when I feel my country needs me. For now, let us enjoy paradise..."

With that their lips met and they held each other as the last rays of the sun lit up the sky in deep shades of red and orange....

Guys, what about a politic of 0 poluttion until Gaia Controler, I mean all switch into ecotopia or theocracy and coordinate our scientifics efforts to get that tech and I build GC if you want.

After that everybody can take the government you want.

Hmm...an interesting proposal. Russian scientists have informed the Politbureau to expect an ecological disaster in 25 turns.

The Zulus are the biggest polluters and should do something about it now

The Russians are constructing pollution reduction devises in several cities and applaud the Assyrians for their substantial reduction in their pollution levels
