New Player Seeks Help

Hello everyone. In the last couple of months I've learned how to play Civ II and CTP, and now would like to play some multiplayer games over the internet. The thing is, I'm not staggeringly computer-literate and so as well as looking for opponents I'm hoping someone will be able to explain to me the process of getting involved. I'm available to play evenings (and into the night!) on weekdays and for the whole of the weekend, GMT time.

Hi Porter.

There are two kinds of multiplayer games.
Online multiplayer games and PBEM games.
The first is played simultaneously by all players as in single player game and the second is played by email.
The first is faster but less fun while the second being much slower has the advantage of long diplomacy which makes the game more interesting and fun.

What ever you choose I am sure that you will find player to join you.
If you decide to play PBEM post in the Youngbloods Reqruitement Center Book II.

Thanks. I think I'd rather play quicker games over the internet, so if there's anyone who fancies a game over the next few days let me know. (You would have to give me a couple of pointers to get set up.)
