        Turn to Lung

Finally the australian leader made up his mind to disbanded the conquered indian city of Kanpur "as a gesture of Australian integrity". I have asked for that long time ago, but ok - if you want to call it a gesture, then do it.

I have as my contribution for peace disbanded Byzantiuma. But my people and my troops stays where they are until you leave roman shores.

Besides, the land I settled is NOT australian land - the place has just the same distance from an annihilated indian city as form a roman city as from an australian city. Therefore, you can claim all you want - I might listen, and then I might not. The australian do not posses every squaremile, that is not specific within roman, german or dutch control. There are still many areaes of unclaimed land. A few of my ships will now start patrolling the waters within reasonable distance of Rome to see, how the australians behave.

As for pollution - keep you pollution down first AND to a lower level than the romans. Then we will see. Until then, I'll use the workday to balance my production and my growth.

        Over and out.

        Senator Maximus of Rome.

The Roman attitude to the threat of global environmental catastrophe is deplorable Is the recalcitrant Roman leader suggesting that Australia show pollution levels to drop before Rome even intends to start construction of the necessary plants to help save the world? By the time Rome does anything constructive towards this threat, the world will already be on the brink of disaster!

Let it be known that if this catastrophe becomes imminent, Australia will do whatever is necessary to save Rome from themselves

As for Australian sovereignty, the peninsula of land where the former Byzantiuma was, was already claimed by Australia. Ignorance of fact is a poor excuse indeed by the Romans. Now Rome is using this as an excuse to patrol areas beyond their territorial waters! International waters are free for all nations to use, but infringement upon Australian territorial waters shall not be tolerated. Rome shall consider itself warned.

Just because land is not heavily populated does not mean it is unclaimed. GlobeSat has noticed that Roman expansionism is in overdrive at the moment, but overpopulation from it's own fault will not constitute reason to settle on Australian soil. So Rome can no longer plead ignorance of Australian sovereign soil, Australia claims the following unpopulated areas;-

All of the land extending from Bhwanasar (whatever) east through Kurri Kurri to Maroochydore, north to Molandar (?), then east through New Cootamundra to Puckapunyal is Australian. All land north of Waloobanbaningai is Australian up to the German border to the north. If Rome doesn't like it, they can lump it. If they're stupid, they can fight us for it, but Australia shall defend it's sovereignty at all costs. Australia has not increased it's borders since the Indian conflict, so it is not infringing upon Roman territory. We expect that Rome shall do the same.

Australia is the primer polluter, their leader knows it but tries to manipulate with the facts.

Rome will not use ressources for reducing own pollution as long as no roman cities has been "the" most pollution city. If such a thing ever should occour, then I will take meassures of reducing the pollution of that city. But of course, roman pollution reduces or grows from time to time when ressources are directed from or to production, science or growth. The decision when to do what is roman - not australian.

As I wrote - the romans are able control their pollution - which is more than the australians are.

As for the australian claim: That's leaves close to no land for any other nation. The australian leader must be out of his mind!

Now look here, BirdBrain! For me to populate those areas and create a patchwork of cities like you have would surpass my city happiness limit, and i am hardly going to disband other cities to make room!

Don Bradman II has stated what is Australian territory, so dispute our territory at your peril!

Then don't claim areas - specially in greyzones, that you have no use for.

Of course I would understand your anger, if I made a settlement on a beach clearly within australian territory - but ok, I will move my settler to an area, that you have NOT stated is your property - when/if you remove your units south of the city Rome.

                          Nice speech, Tweety

However, when i last looked, Roman cities occupied 2nd and 3rd on the list of highest polluting cities, so our higher total pollution merely reflects our larger population

Furthermore, our largest industrial centres all have pollution-reduction programs in place, so it seems that the biggest culprits will mostly be Roman in the very near future!

So now the conniving Roman leader is trying to recruit our allies against us? It won't work, because the Germans never listen

The global threat is becoming imminent, but current pollution reduction measures are expected to take effect in time to reverse this trend. Australian scientists are currently working feverishly to find new ways to reduce, or even eliminate, pollution.

People of the world - never forget that is was Australian scientists that invented recycling and gave it unto the world!!!

And again we can see on the chart of pollution, that Australia continues their pollution. Their level is rising - ours is falling - and will fall even more next time, as I noticed a single roman city in lead as the most pollution city.

So soon we shall see if the WORDS OF LUNG is equivalent to HOT AIR or to be trusted.
