No turn received for nearly 2 days now - though I am playing in 12-13-14 games (most of them rated games) - in fact, I have played only 2 turns the last 4 days.
I know some have trouble with their pc - some have not that much time - some other excuses. I have mine too, not an excuse - just a bad explanation : I do not go through all the games I play in every day though I should do so. Shame on me for that.
I can't help it, but I feel that many games have a very low turnrate right now.
I know we have the next-rule - it is used but not enogh.
I know we also have a penalty for being too late - but really, who is using that rule? Besides I do not think it has much effect.
So what else could we do?
Do any have some suggestions what to do? Something like each player SHOULD appoint a sub, to whom the other players could send the turn to, if the turn for some (un)known reason wasn't played in a reasonable time (24 hours + ??).
