I'm having trouble getting CTP to play on my network and was hoping someone could help.
I have two PCs connected by network cards and ethernet cable, we share a net connection, can transfer files, and can play games multiplayer like Civ 3, Age of Mythology, Unreal Tournament. But when I try to run CTP over the network it just won't work.
If I select the IPX option I just get 'Network Error' which is something I've gotten with other IPX games so I guess I don't have that protocol. But when I choose TCP/IP we can both get into the lobby and even talk to eachother there, but once one of us hosts a game the other one can never join, when they click to join the loading screen just stays there for ages before saying they can't connect and sending them back to the lobby. Any ideas?
