  • Call to Power 2 source code released

Not entirely on-topic, but I know that many of the players here will appreciate the information.

So, just a little bit ago, Activision made the CtP2 source publicly available.

Check this thread: http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...hreadid=100219 for obtaining it.

Congratulations to the entire CtP community!

    No reply so far?

Note that CtP2 source code is based on CtP1 so any familiarity with the code and bug fixing could help to improve not only CtP2 but CtP1 as well!

If you are interesting in improving this game at all drop a note. We will surely need any help available.

So they wont never release CtP1 code?

Should download the huge source file, right?
The Chuck Norris military unit was not used in the game Civilization 4, because a single Chuck Norris could defeat the entire combined nations of the world in one turn.

There is no CtP1 code. CtP2 was built completely on the CtP1 codebase, and most of the code is there...

But, Keygen, you are expected to drop in the CtP2-Open Source forum, and of course evreyone else is welcome to.

          /me shrugs.

Unless they release the CtP Mac code there's really no reason for me to show up... kind of need to know how to port CtP2 before I can even be of help.
