PC crashes when opening turns

Ths has been happening for the past month now on and off. Now I cannot open a single turn without my computer crashing. I start up the turn, and just before it starts loading, the hand cursor gets stuck and I have to reboot.

Any help?

You have of course run a scandisk and deleted every *.chk files in the root-directory ( C:\ )?!
