I don't wish to play, but will volunteer to moderate.

Can I suggest some slight changes to the rules?

      When the game starts,
If the target of W is X,
and the target of X is Y,
and the target of Y is Z.

When X kills Y, he inherits the target of Y so
the target of X becomes Z.

But if X attacks Y and X gets destroyed,
      W inherits a new target of Y.

This technique ensures a chain of target/killer, which does not ever get broken. It's also interesting because as X, you may decide to give Y a breather from being attacked so they can go wage war on Z who will be your next target!

Attacking somebody who is not your target is not permitted. (Napoleon, Hitler, etc. all learned you should not fight a war on 2 fronts ) If you think about, once wars start, you will always be at war with your target and your killer, so fighting even more wars sounds suicidal.

Yes, PN. I think (I may be wrong) that my "chain kills" works as you describe. So I agree with you.

And yes it's suicidal to kill an "innocent" civilization, because the killer of this civilization becomes your killer. So you have 2 killers after you, a bad situation.
Such game will incite carefull and smart diplomaty, I hope.

I've add 2 options to the games.

Note to Quinns : I've modified the rating procedure.

I'm getting married (again) on 27 May so I'm looking for a new moderator until 13 June when I get back from honeymoon. If you know anybody who might be interested in moderating (this game, not the honeymoon ) get them to email me. Or you can wait for a start until 13 June...

            Congratulations PN!

And Zobo, I'm going to have to bow out of this game, sorry. Thanks for the offer though!

Zobo, sorry but nobody has come forward to offer to moderate this game when I'm away.

                Happy Killers Rule updated.

Section "Killing an innocent civilization" and "A civilization kills your target" are changed.

Now when you kill an innocent civilization, its predator didn't have to kill you. It's avoid vicious circle.

Does this mean that the admin assign to him a new target?

                    Yes.

                    Example :

A has to kill B who has to kill C.

                    If X kill B, then A has to kill C. Simple, isn't it ?
