              Great Peli,

I'm faced with a dilemma. Perhaps you could be of assistance in resolving the issue. Last turn a cleric attempted to encroach upon our territory, who was expelled. This turn we discover a slaver. Our turn is not yet over. My dilemma is this: Should I expel or terminate the slaver? Requesting my maps and dropping a slaver in my territory leaves little doubt as to your intentions. I could have terminated your cleric, but I didn't. Now there is a second subversive unit on our territory.

I would consider expelling your slaver if you promise not to send any more subversive units to my territory. Additionally, I would like you to offer a gift of a suitable advance (not theocracy) such as hullmaking. Finally, I would like for you to say you are "very sorry" two times in separate sentences for trespassing upon my territory.

If I do not hear from you before I'm required to take my turn, your slaver will be subject to our military law, which allows for his termination. We would also be happy to instruct our navy to escort your vessel out of our territory.

              Have a Great Day!

                Don't expel him, please!

We are sorry for the misunderstanding as we have no knowledge of your maps yet. I will remove him from there as soon as possible. You can scort him on his out if you want to make sure that I stick to my word.

                Thanks George,

                Peli

                  Great Peli,

Although you may not have known exactly where I was located, you did request my maps. Consider this issue from my perspective. Additionally, you have not apologized in the indicated manner. Also, my request was for you to provide me with an advance, There is still time before I take my turn. Moreover, you have not promised to stay out of my territory. No response will subject your slaver to our military law.

                    Great George,

You are judging this incident as if I had planned it. Like I said before, it was not intentional. By murdering my scouting unit, you will not get anything from me... Have you ever heard the vinegar and honey story?

                    Edit:

By the way, If you accept my offer to exchange maps, I will not send units of any kind to your territory.

No I havent heard of the vinegar and honey story. Have you heard the one about a slaver who trespassed and was never seen again? Seriously I think we can form a lasting alliance, but you need to take the first step. Please post your response hear. BTW how far is it to the nearest city?

It's somewhat far away. I have a ship ready to bring my unit back home, so you don't have to worry about that guy going someplace else.

I suggest you accept my proposition to exchanging maps in order to avoid further misunderstandings.

I will expel your unit. Any further incursions will be dealt with without notice. As you have been dropping slavers into my territory there will be no map. If your naval vessel approaches our coastline you will get a light.
