It's a deathmatch where the first player who will kill his target will end the game as well. I give it 3-4 months unless a players meets his target in the first turns. Then it could end even in some weeks

You may want to play a more builder role and fore longer time so a standard game would be a good solution.
Besides 2 PBEM games are not much. Most here play 4-5 games and some more than 10 games.
But it's your desicion anyway.
