    Oh no, you're wrong! Quinns has it .

    It is a custom when wonders are to become obsolete not to tell! We don't want to ruin the surprise .
    It is turn 76 after all! Someone should be closed to Age of Reason .

      Hmm, but I didn't start playing this game until turn 55, and it's my first ever PBEM game so I've no idea whether anybody should be near Age of Reason or not, and I inherited a very bad position right at the bottom of the heap when I started.

      Maybe I expected some compassion, but 'c'est la guerre' and a lesson learned I suppose.

        Don't take it so bad PN. Nothing personal. Almost all of us here are ruthless. Though I'm sure they will deny it. No matter what kind of frilly words you see here and there, most of us want to crush the other civilizations before they crush ours. You'll see diplomatic words scattered around the forum in an attempt to sway players to their side, but secretly, they are ALL awaiting their opportunity to pounce, [except for, maybe, Paul who is searching for Aliens D-E-C- (drop an octave) C-G ]. Some wait longer than others, that's all.

        edit: BTW ... Turn to King Thor
        And it wasn't me that discovered Age of Reason, and I don't think it was Thor. I put it off as long as possible. Thor lost Labyrinth's use and I lost the use of the Philosopher's Stone. Both good wonders, now completely useless. Keygen is right though, Age of Reason was inevitable by this stage of the game, PBEM or otherwise.

          So, who has the turn?

          I did. Now I don't. You do Turn 76 --> Keygen

          PN, recently installed as Shogun in Japan, is reported to be spitting feathers after the Forbidden City revealed no benefit to him whatsoever. PN is sure that other nation's spies must have known he was building the Forbidden City, and must also have known that other nations had reached the Age of Reason, making his wonder obsolete. PN regrets that none of the spies were "double agents" and so failed to warn him about this, especially as he's so new to this Fixed world and doesn't know all the history.

            Oh yeah, ruthless indeed .
            So either me or Stavros is responsible. I wonder who .

            Well, the Greeks might become your friend PN ...for a while.
            The start has been already made a few turn ago...

                    Turn to Shaka of the Zulus
                    ==========================

                    It appears our Zulu neighbors are more warlike than anticipated. We recieved a letter from them demanding us to dismantle our southern settlements and find it preposterous that they even consider asking such a thing of of us.

                    Those settlements are legitimate and we demand that your military be removed from their vicinity immediately.

                    • Looks like you got your reply Thor Hey, hey, turn 78 received from Stavros only twice this time, and onto Keygen.

                      I'm 'wondering' whether that was a hint Keygen
