Turn 297 to Maesto 7½ hour ago.
Rumours will know, that the spanish leader in a talk to the leaders of another world of the Monkeys has spoken words of destroying "The Nanite Defuser".
Then I fear, that nukes once again can and will be used in our world.
And what if the Gaia Controller was hit?First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win.

Turn298 to Maestro.
Official from the Phoenican HQ:
One spanish city has this morning surrendered to the commander of a phoenician taskforce.
In a short brutal fight, all spanish defenders were whiped out by a combined attack from air and land, covered by an intense use of missiles from SAM's and WarWalkers.

Two more wonders of the world were destroyed? Wow what is going on? Is the Hippie bug from hell going on a rampage? We will note your concern Phonecian leader, but if the spanish or others destroy it won't they be cutting their own throats as well. But anyway we will continue to beef up the security surrounding this wonder.

Now that the nanite defuser is gone, I notice nukes are still unavailable in the queues. Will they ever become available? Is this another one of the many things not documented by acticrap and you have to find out for yourself by trial and error. btw.. Who owned the nanite and the shield wonders? I guess i should pay more attention to these things.

Dear Don, leader of the canadians.
I was informed by one of my informers, living in another world. He has mailed me a copy of a speach or something like that, that first was released by the jamacian leader there.
"The Nanite Defuser" is not yet destroyed as far as I know - but read the Monkey World News, section 1, part VII, dated 26th. june 2001. Then you will know why I am worried.
The Nanite Defuser is under your protection, therefore you should be worried too.

Out of turn:
The game does not seem to have a function to revert to old setings if a condition nolonger exists. But if for some chance a civ did not have the tech for nukes, they may possibly get them when they achieved the tech seeing that the conditional block was not in force when they got the first got the tech.
The target was the National Shield. The fact that the Nanite Difusser was in the same city was a bonus. I did not expect to get nukes back, or I would have built SDI in my major cities before I took out Giza."The greatest happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved - loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves."--Victor Hugo

It actually depends on whether the programmer used a one-way or two-way trigger. As far I have have seen, most of the triggers in CTP are one-way; that is once something happens you cannot turn it off. Unit availablity is activated by a trigger, you get Alchemy you can build archers; and deactivated by a trigger, you get Gunpowder you can't build archers anymore. The only triggers that seem to be two-way are related to governments and units only usable under certain ones. When I destroyed the Nanite Defuser, nukes did not appear on my build list. Now it remains to be seen if nukes reappear in Maestro's turn, as he was the owner of the wonder and his turn starts a new turn cycle."The greatest happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved - loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves."--Victor Hugo

Turn 299 to Maestro.
So I was wrong - The Nanite Defuser was egyptian, and it IS destroyed!
I see. The spanish are ruthless, therefore no sorrow with their soldiers. 2 more spanish cities was under attack this morning. One city surrendered to the superior phoenician army, one city is still reluctant to turn over the spanish officials into phoenician care, that govern this former canadian city. It might be due to the spanish troops, whos moral was bigger than my commander thought.

Turn 301 to Maestro.
In the middle of a hot day the phoenicians moved again. Another spanish city felt without much resistance.
An other place, our agents did one more attempt to persuade the civilians in a former canadian city to deliver the spanish administrators to the phoenician commander. Once again, the answer was something like: Nõ senorita.
Now I know the capability of this "senorita", so maybe you should think again before you turn her down again!
