Demos, I don't know. Maybe the games you dropped a few weeks ago where rated too. When you drop a game where you are rated or change your status from rated to unrated you lose many points.
Quinns and Solver could explain you better.

Actually, everyone defeats you 3 times. That is, imagine a 6 player game. And the fool Solver is beaten. So the little bastard Solver gets 5*3=15 losses, however, the others don't gain anything additional, it's only that the loser loses it.
