How does everyone here decide on borders late (and early) in the game? Placing military units 2 suares apart around the entire empire? Or do you just send a BMP with a line in a certain area till the other agrees?

Saddam,
I think most people here rely on land marks and verbal agreements. Personally, I'd rather use units (as you suggested) but spaced three apart (with two empty tiles between) as their zones of control will prevent any incursion from any foreign military unit without an explicit act of war. That way, there is no question about the exact border. Also, this prevents MANY future petty arguments that could lead to war. IMO
