Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
It seems pretty good so far BirdMan. However, I don't much like the idea of 250 thousand gold though. Mainly because, come turn 5, there will be, basicallY, no ancient "rush buy" wonders left for the last player (namely, ME). That's my only complaint (wah! wah!) about the game so far. I know it's impossible to be completely fair, but I think that is WAY too much gold to start.
This game is either unusual (more than normal) or it sends a "torpedo" towards the statement, that the first player gets the best place.
Placed north: Ice, water, lots of small lakes (not a total mess of lakes and islands - but many lakes), swamps and forrests.
I have to be very careful where to place cities.
Personally, I think the only ancient wonders, that would be attractive is Confusious Academy and the Philo. Stone.
I would rather rushbuy caravans, markedplaces etc., now that I'm able to, instead of using gold for a wonder with an effect, that suddenly are gone. Remember, I'm only talking about ancient wonders
First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win.
Today I have been very busy listening to messages of city mayors and explorers "Shasting 550 ban jukil", announed one of them, meaning we now have expenses of gold, thanks to the ruins of an older civilization. Older??? What can be older than our civilization? Well, perhaps the ruined Roman cities can .
Second explorer announced we now have done enough research and been the first on this planet to discover new advances. I was thrilled, when I asked what this is. My people couldn't quite explain it, so I went to Tycopanco, my favorite scientist, the wisest man of the Mayan empire. Tycopanco announced that we now can create something absolutely new to help our cities grow, but I wanted more deatails. Tycopanco told me it's something like a building, and water goes through it - I have decided to call it an Aqueduct - strange word, isn't it?
Then 3 times in a raw I have heard bad news: "Manyt kunjh utzka ban!", my explorers meant they have enetered ruins, which were empty! I though someone must have robbed these ruins, and I went to Kymantzko, my favorite war minister. He said we'll find these robbers - to do this next year a great warship will leave one of our cities for scouting waters, and finding Mayan enemies.
Turn --> Kralj. Surely, we're going on very fast for such an amount of players - let's go on like this.
