I would like to try PBEM but do not know how, I did install patch 1.2.

Welcome to our community. Installing the patch should give you the hotseat option and the ability to start a PBEM game. However, you need not start a PBEM game yourself. Go for the thread "youngblood recruitment center" and find yourself some opponents. You will probably find postings from Keygen. He organizes new games for people new to the PBEM arena.

Another option is to look for threads that call for people to attend new PBEM games. Just mention on these threads that you want to participate in the game and you are on.

A third option is to start your own thread, ask for opponents and start a PBEM game yourself.
