The two wandering Russian settlers pulled their coats tight to block out the sandstorm and thought "Since when are there deserts in Russia?"

I got forest rivers Ha Ha . Now to locate those mountains by the sea and I'll be set.

It's good to see the game under way Rick, i did see desert nearby, but why are you trekking in that direction anyway? I've playtested those settings dozens of times, and all three civs get rivers every time. Obviously the first player gets the best starting pozzie, but that's why you get a rematch with the starting positions reversed. All starting positions with these settings are quite good, with lots of rivers and trade goods. You should find it much easier than normal to crank up your production, meaning more war, sooner!

Anyway, it's good to see you guys speeding through the turns already

You're right, there is a river, but I couldn't help noticing that the land around seemed a tad arrid. Guess my soldiers will have to wear light-weight uniforms!
