I'll send it, but I can't do it until I get home...probably by 7PM EST.

Turn to Madrid.
My Blessings upon you, Noble Demosthenes, for having despatched my errant Missionary. I took full account of the prayers of Xenophon and extended the hand of mercy to my wayward child. He was granted the honour of giving the first public demonstration of the revolutionary 'Horse' provided by Brother Tomas. The lightest weights were attached and his wonderful hymns in my praise were heard throughout Paris for over a day in a moving ceremony.

Brother Tomas is pleased that St Jon has made such good use of our gift...
Verily, the mere thought that our invention could be used as a musical instrument passed us by...
Truly you are a saint of great resourcefulness!

Turn 53 ==> Stavros
Nothing to report.
Except that it appears that the Santa hats are back again!

Turn 53 to Quinns
Great Quinns, the glorious city of RA-tapul is a testament to the artistry of the Inca people! We are honoured to have been allowed to build an Embassy within her walls, and thus finalize our mission to make peace with all the nations of the world!
In this spirit of brotherhood we greet the French Pikeman, whose compass has apparantly been filled with the dust of the plains on which he has been wandering. He is now entering Greek territory, and alas, we cannot allow foreign military units on this land, so we suggest a different direction for his travels

Turn 54 to St Jon ---
My regular mail steveq@gte.net is working again, please send mail to that address. Sorry for the confusion.
-----------------------------------
Oh Great Xenophon! We hope that the accommodations in RA-tapul are adequate for your ambassador to Inca. I know that the Greeks are accustomed to great architecture and that the border town of RA-tapul is not of any comparison, architecturally, to any of the Greek cities. We shall make his stay as comfortable as possible, however.
Wise Breaker Morant of Australia -- We see that your diplomat heads for home. I see no signs of the barbarian hordes, but if you wish to have an escort, please let me know and one will be provided. Feel free to use the road. It is not a "toll" road, but a "free"way for foreign diplomats.

St Jon,
I'm sure had you not been so busy that you would have noticed that your phalanx appears to have strayed into our newly designated neutral zone...?
We thank you for your understanding...

Turn 54 ==> Stavros
Great Quinns of the Incans,
I humbly ask for your permission to establish a permanent embassy with your people. As my special envoy treks across tundra and glaciers to the east of Pucara, the city came into sight upon the horizon. He has travelled many miles to reach you, and I hope that you will treat him with full diplomatic hospitality.
Lord Demosthenes.

Honorable and True Demosthenes,
Let it be known that the Welsh diplomat is more than welcome to set up an embassy in the city of Pucara, Inca. An escort will be provided if you desire. We have already sent an emissary to the great land of Wales (by sea) to do the same, (with your permission of course -- I asked earlier but I guess you missed it.)
