    Turn 51 to Quinns

Greetings to the Welsh Knight, who in leaving France, now treads close to the Greek border. May we suggest a northerly course, after clearing the pass between mountains and sea, as this will take you out of Greece.

For we are like our French friends, in that we too welcome Diplomats to Greece, but have an aversion to military units on our soil.

        King Rick,

Once again the Welsh tread on paths that they shouldn't. Perhaps you would be most gracious enough to exchange cartographic details so as to ensure that only Welsh diplomats come your way in the future.

          Turn 52 to Madrid.

          Felicitations to All,

I am deeply disturbed that Greece should have established a City so as to intrude upon the 'Sacred Waters' of an ages old French City. Surely the Noble Xenophon, our dear friend, should have thought before so ignoring convention and setting his fishermen to work in my Holy Water?

My Missionary has enjoyed his stay in Wales but he has much to answer for his 'alleged' misconduct whilst visiting the Greeks. The evidence against him has been presented and looks irrefutable but he must be allowed the chance to repent of his sins before his sentence is pronounced. Please, Noble Demosthenes, despatch him back for judgement posthaste so that his soul may be saved from purgatory everlasting!

          Goodwill to All,
St Jon, Harmony in a World of Discord.

Madrid reports the founding of yet another city in the name of his catholic holiness of Spain...

Much to report as the Markets buzz with the magnificence of Spain as their only subject!

Greetings to the rest of the World - may you all enjoy bounty and properity such as we do!

              Turn 52 ==> Stavros

              Noble St Jon,

Your diplomat has been despatched home forthwith to answer to the charges levelled against him. We hope that you are in a most charitable mood when dealing with him, for he was nothing but courteous here in Wales.

              Cariad,
              Demosthenes.

                  Turn 52 to Quinns

We were surprised to hear you complain about sharing the waters between our two nations, St. Jon. We did not lodge any protest even after French fisherman chose to pluck valuable crabs from the very shores of Greece in the same region.

The Creator of this world has chosen to separate us with but a thin channel of water. We in Greece are willing to share these waters with our French friends, but do not believe it would be fair to give them up completely. For our people also need to eat!

It is our hope that we can live in the same Harmony here that you expoused at the end of your last oration to the world.

                  --------------------------------------------------------------------
Our Diplomat has reached the gates of our neighbours in Inca, and we happily anticipate the creation of an Embassy to further the friendship we enjoy with your people!
                  --------------------------------------------------------------------

We were pleased to exchange maps with you, esteemed Demosthenes, and hope that the information gleaned will aid you in your navigation in the region.

We wish to plead the case of our friend, the Diplomat to France.

After living his entire life in repression, he only did what might be expected when exposed to a freedom he had never known!

No harm was done, and no offense taken. He is welcome back in Greece at any time.

We hope that St. Jon will in this case exhibit the famous compassion and Love for his fellow man that we have come to expect from him!

Sorry everybody. My e-mail servers, at both work and home, got hit by a pretty bad virus yesterday. They are working on fixing it.

Just got an update, my "steveq@gte.net" won't be fixed until Dec 1, 2000 at 23:00 Apolyton Time... %$#@! But my e-mail at work is working now.

Anyway, sorry to bother you AGAIN, Rick, but if you could e-mail me turn 52 to "steve_quinn@power-one.com" I can play the turn from work (shhhhh... don't tell my boss!) and I would much appreciate it!

Turn 53 to St Jon the Holy --

The God of Wind looks with favor upon our naval emissaries. (The diplomat sent to France looks a bit green though.... "Didn't you take your Dramamine!?")
