  • OFFICIAL: Attitude towards the Greeks...

(3rd try, stupid forum bugs )

What should our attitude towards the Greeks be? Should we declare war now or say 'nice doggy' until we can find a big stick?

Very Agressive > declare war now!
Mildly Agressive > reject offers they make, tresspass
Neutral > ignore them as much as possible
Mildly Peaceful >accept (reasonable) offers they make, don't tresspass
Very Peaceful > make offers of peace and gifts ourselves, try to get as close as possible

Say 'nice doggy' until we can find SOME big stickS!

And those big sticks are: Slavers and knights a.s.a.p.
First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win.

Neutral -- Boot any settlers, diplomats, or stealth units back home. No attacks unless attacked. Eventually build a border of cheap zones of control (warriors or phalanxes with two empty tiles between them) and a cleric or diplomat (preferred) roaming around to find the enemy stealth units that will definitely come.

To start with, I think we should play nice. Be mildly peaceful. We shouldn’t get their blood pressure up – but don’t accept any permanent treaties (peace etc.). Then later, once we’ve researched how to turn our big sticks into big pointy sticks – we can go have ourselves some Greek kebabs.

We need to expand quickly or they will surround us.
So one guy turns to another guy and says "T.A.I." His friends says "What?" He responds by saing "Think about it;)"

I think we should be (very) mildly peacefull.
Accept any reasonable offers, but still boot
out all their settlers and stealth units.

They don't like us, that's for sure (very angry).

A little info from the turn I played: Spain has begun Hagia Sophia and the Scotland the Sphinx.
