I say Yellow... but I'm tempted to say Green as well... I'll listen to the vets first

I’d go with yellow too. It’s got the ocean and beaver. And that’s a pretty good combo.

Takes to long to get to yellow. Lets just build at red. Rabbit style.

If we do go so far as yellow, would it not be better to go one more North so that we would gain the Pearl of Great Price.

Red. And Nimrod --- Please build that Phalanx Bn ASAP... We may not run into any barbarians this early, but with 15 other warring nations wandering about the world, the chances aren't bad that one of their scouts will come our way -- and we are undefended with our lone warrior so far away from home.

Yellow is perfect: no overlap with Atlantis and leaves enough room for a 3rd city in the north (which can pick up the Pearl).

The Chuck Norris military unit was not used in the game Civilization 4, because a single Chuck Norris could defeat the entire combined nations of the world in one turn.

                        Yellow.

No rabbits to me - I better like chicks

And yes - build a phalanx as soon as possible.
First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win.

Yellow is a mistake. Go for Red. This is one major key to making a strong civilization as fast as possible. Many players make this mistake of not wanting to "overlap" their city tiles. Some players humorously dismiss rapid growth as "rabbit" strategy -- this is a mistake as well. Believe me -- Forget about "overlap" and
"asthetics" if you want to build a strong civilization that will overpower your enemies. Build fast and strong -- GO RED!
