I voted for the No Mods with Awesome AIPs. (As long as no one has to load any special files on their computer, excepting the President, to open the turn and view the civilization. That is possible with Awesome AIPs from what I hear.)

I vote for MedMod as it's quite simply the best damn mod out there, with neatest features, the coolest units/wonders/advances, the most balanced game and the best AI

AAIPs was made by both WesW and Nordicus BTW.

All rise of the honourable Miggio, for 2 months at least.

I concur with Locutus, but Im afraid the majority will vote for AAIP, as I did. I still hope to see a medmod in the next demo game.

                  I'm supporting Locutus and Nimrod.

Just remember to choose the LARGE version of the files, else we end with these louse low citylimits Quinns wrote about.

We might even choose to raise the limits further as the numbers are too small to my taste even in the LARGE-version.

i have one question, If we are using aips do all who wish to view a savegame need the aips mod.

and is it safe to assume we are using the aplyton pack?

Good question, miggio. From what I understood from Martin G. , AIPs can run the artificial intelligence players, but still allow anyone to open and see the game turn WITHOUT those viewing individuals loading ANY extra files on their computer. If this is not so, then I withdraw my vote for aips (if possible) and vote for NO MODS.

No mods would be simplest for all
After the vote would someone list all things that need to be added to the ctp game no matter how small so i and everyone else is clear about what is needed.

I still want to see a MedPack game. For the AIPs they are only a buch of files. The version of these files that are used depend on the version of the files that are at the right directory. From my experience the game uses the file that is there for instance if I use a modified colors00.txt then my civ colors are different then your colors, but that doesn't change the compartibility, the game would use the colors that finds on the setup and ot teh colors that are found on the game creators set up. The only differnce you might notice is here that the powergraph on the save load preview has a different color, as this information is stored in a rim picture file directly and uncompressed in the save game file.

And finally it should matter what you want to see here in the game and not how hard it will to install, for that part we are here.

Both simplicity and quality are important Martin. If people get too frustrated with installing the new mod files on their system, they will lose interest, regardless of how "neat" or "cool" the new modded units are. Loss of interest will result in a weaker democratic game.
