    MUST ACCEPT COPPER TRADE

The army, we need to decide: Move 1, play it safe. Move 4 potentially cut off capitol, but exposed to danger. Minimum, we should take out 3 archers if they attack.

The spear, IMO should move 1, then maybe settle in moving 6 after that, for fog removal.

Re: Choke stack, it seems to me that if we're going to cut that road, we have to do it now. Things will only get worse as they build more units.

I don't have a good handle on how the combat results turn out, but it sounds like even with their archers having promotions, there's a good chance of each of our units taking out the first archer to attack it. That would leave 1 archer in their city and 3 damaged units of ours outside, a very risky scenario. I'm thinking we should go for it, especially if they still only have 4 archers when we get the save again.

I played and sent, but poly went to **** and wouldn't let me post. I didn't even think this thread got through.

There's at least one more archer out there to the west, I'll see if Sarantium can give us an idea where.

Given their promotions, it would be very unlikely their archers could kill an axe outright. One of the upgraded archers has about a 40% chance of taking the spear. But, as the stack goes, that would mean attacking the spears with unupgraded archers, which wouldn't be too awful bright (assuming no reloads) as there's a decent chance such an attack would not injure the axe much/enough to trigger the spear defending in the first place. I completely suck at trying to figure how much damage the axes would take(it's far too random), though, so couldn't give odds on further combats, but they're likely pretty bad.

I"d recommend going 1 and then going 7 and cut the road there. That way if they wanted to risk their archers attacking us they'd have to empty the city to do so and risk losing their archers to a counter attack in the open field. Plus they'd attack with less archers since they'd have to leave at least one in the city.

(or if we wanted to be really cautious go 7, 4, 1, and then 2 to cut the road there out of reach of the archers)

I had a look at the save. There are now 2 archers 3 of KT along with 4 protecting it.

EDIT: So yeah, I would agree with Ozzy about moving the army 1, but I would suggest going 4 4 after that and then cut the road (assuming that's where it continues). If we move 1 7, they can still attack us with their archers based in KT using their road movement.

I say kill one of the new archers now. Attack with the 1 xp axe and fort the spear. Worst case scenario is they attack with 5 archers and lose at least 2.

We move, and they'll have a 5 stack they can follow us with, still keeping one in the capitol. We may as well reduce that to a 4 stack and promo the axe now.

One of the two that are 3 of the city is double drill, or did you mean attack the city...

If we move 1 we'll be in forest.

Attack the archer on the flat. It'll be bad luck if the double drill does much, as it's on open terrain, and thus our axe is still stronger.

Could run some tests with worldbuilder to be absolutely sure, but I'ld personally make that attack every day of the week.

Ah. Well, that's entirely different then.

                          Move 1.
