  • Turn 74 - 1080 BC

Bolt moved 6 (hidden under axe forted on hill). Should road tile this turn. New spear in FS promoted to combat 1 and moved to FS copper. Axe started in FS.

Army moved 3, which reveals that KT has no early era resources in it's fat cross... 4 archers remain guarding KT. Wounded axe to heal this turn. Spear to pillage road and 2nd axe to fort.

    . . . . .

Do we know, did they move before settling?

If they didn't, this is extremely bizaar placement for a starting locale assuming minimal adjustment by the map maker.

I would venture to say, if they did not move, they are guaranteed to have a hidden resource around that capitol. Can't think of what all is left hidden to us, but...

        Coal, aluminum, uranium.

That place has some monstrous production potential too, with a few farms and some mines, they could get some killer production.

Gotta double check, but I believe we need to send copper this turn.

Indeed. My reference to oil was a poor attempt at humor since oil is sooo bloody far away down the line. I wasn't pointing out the obvious.

                  Spear on copper moved 1
                  Spear pillage road
                  Axes fort
                  Bolt roads

                  Copper offered to Sarantium.

They should accept it without offering anything in return, then we accept it next turn, thus enabling the actual trade to start on time.
