I'll condense the two in a bit.

    Hmmm...

The upload service won't take the combined map right now, I'll try again from the home PC later.

All righty then... this continent is a little small for three teams.

Sarantium appears to be in a bit of a tough spot. Not a terrible position, but I'd rather have ours any day. We and the Horde appear to have some land reserves in our immediate area (screw the Horde for trying to settle so far up north when they have their own horse supply ) whereas Sarantium is more limited in their options.

Given the resource distribution and trends I've noticed with the map generator, I'll lay odds Sarantium has iron around their capitol. Still, they did seem to get the shaft as far as the early game goes.

So, border discussion, then. Essentially, we're looking at the gold site, imo. Given the current layout, I think I'm more willing to let that go to Sararntium and focus on grabbing the luxes southwest. we can't let them as far north as the pigs, though.

The pigs and fish, and generally those hills where our axe and their warrior are, definitely has to go to us. It's just too core a part of our area.

However, I agree gold and the mouth of the river goes to Sarantium. We won't get anything but animosity out of them otherwise; their good sites are limited until they can start chopping jungle.

I agree we should focus on sealing off the southwest, given how the horde is pushing in on our side of the jungle. If we can get a united border down there we can backfill up our coasts later; and if we can get a border agreement with Sarantium, we should be able to safely leave the pigs-fish site for later. (Of course, all this peaceful planning goes somewhat to hell if the Horde attack.)

Not really. We'll lose foxtrot (if we agree not to defend it, that is, we'll only MOST LIKELY lose it if we try to defend), but the plan would not be to fight an all out aggressive wipe out war form there. It would be use our 3 axes and 1 spear to perform a squeeze on the Horde.

If they attack and we take out their 2 archers, they'll be unable to defend a second city from axes, then we just work the squeeze: Keep them in the capitol, maybe pillage a bit, while we go about our business.

Foxtrot could even be rebuilt 1 tile south if they choose this route.

Heh, we would have really screwed Sarantium if we went with the 2nd city spot I was pushing for at first. But yea, this is a tight spot for the three of us. Good thing it is 2 on 1 (initially of course)

Even in the current turn i dont see enough map knowledge upon loading the save to reconstruct this
Did you get your hands on a sarantium screenie?

Yep, it's a hybrid of Sarantine and Merc maps. We traded screenshots with Sarantium a while back.
