      I'd say Scout 4-4. 4-1 wouldn't be bad either, but 4-4 provides forest cover.

          Pasture is soon ready, should the worker road the tile or chop the forest 4 of him? Chopping would pop that axeman out a bit faster.

            Chop. Roading won't speed up anything until a third segment is also completed, IE it won't be ready in time for the settler; whereas getting the axeman out sooner makes it much more palatable to send the spearman out in advance of the settler.

              My next question then has to do with tech. Do we go for Writing in order to enable Open Border agreements, and allow for a library or two? Or do we go for Masonry to enable Fort Bravo's full production capability?

              We probably don't need Masonry until FB reaches size 3. I'm thinking wheat first, then gold to speed up overall research, then quarry.

              What say ye?

              EDIT: I forgot that FB will have copper too... makes me wish it had a 2nd food resource.

                Tech... not sure, I need to look at what our options are.

                On 2nd city: we'll have to see where we are and how guarded we feel. If we feel we need troops ASAP, copper first, then wheat; if we feel we can be more relaxed, vice versa to get growth kicked off before the copper dings off a food. I think gold should be tile #3 though, we need at least some shield production there soon so that AB can be freed to produce mostly pop units.
