  • Turn 8 - 3720 BC

Previous move reveals Stone and Pigs.

I guess the next move is either 7 9 to open up some of the FoW to the north or 9 6 to open up some of the coastline. I'm kind of partial to 9 6.

Stone !!!! polarnomad, you should play the turn more often.

My preference is 9-7. Can reveal some coastal ties and at the same time continue to venture North.

Superb! Another player, doesn't anarchy rule?

Anyway. As far as I know, that is procedure, yes.

        Glad I could help!

BTW the tile the scout is currently standing on might be a good spot for our next city. We could always have one of our future port towns in the vicinity build a Work Boat and send it over to get access to the fishies later.

Oh, and 9 7 definitely is a good option that I hadn't considered.

The scout's spot does look good, except for the lack of coastal access. Depending on how the other cities in that area are placed, though, that might be necessary.

9-6 for the scout's next move sounds good.

9-7 is my prefernce for the scout's next move. 9-6 is a dead end.

My thinking was that it would provide a better view up the coast, but I may be wrong.

I can understand that, but I'm not entirely convinced that there's anything to see at the coast at the moment.

Not even a nude beach or two? There looks like a good spot at the base of the mountain to the north.

Whoops, I meant to post 9-7.

9-6 wouldn't be bad, but it does delay our getting the scout north.

Stupid question, but 9-8 is impassable right?

Yup. All mountain peaks are impassable. FYI, peaks also don't have resources, and can't be worked by a city.
