    Initial Assessment
Layout was great ! Cow and Rice. But since we started with Mining, it's almost a crime not to research BW. So, it would be BW followed by Animal Husbandry.

4000 BC : Moved Scout. Found hut. Settled on the spot. Started research on BW. Build set to Worker, I wwould use the Worker to chop some trees, and when I had Animal Husbandry, used it to develop the cow tile.

3960BC : Popped hut #1. 78 Golds. Sent scout Northwards.

3880BC : Found stone !!! In the Ancient age, Stone can speed up Pyramids and Stonehenge. Likely City 2 spot fixed at 8 of Stone. When the border expands, it would include Cattle, Stone and Clam.

Maybe I can build both Wonders ! But it's not a good idea to have both in the same city, because Pyramids produces Great Engineering point and Stonehenge Great Prophet points. Pyramid takes longer, so I think i will use the Capital for Pyramid and the 2nd city for Stonehenge.

3760BC : Popped hut #2. Bronze Working ! (how i wish i had researched Animal Husbandry ) Start research on Animal Husbandry.

3680BC : Found English Scout, in the North.

3360BC : Worker completed, build Warrior.

3280BC : Animal Husbandry researched. Start Wheel. (to road the resources and to 2nd city)

    3200BC : Popped hut #3. Gained experience.

3080BC : Warrior completed, start Settler. Warrior moving to new city position. Chopped 1 or 2 forest, i can't remember. Potential City 3 position, 8-8 of Gold.

3000BC : Wheel completed. Start Fishing. (to link to the Clam resource)

    2960BC : Popped Hut #4. Got scout

2800BC : Fishing completed. Start Masonary. (to work on the stone resource)

2720BC : Settler completed, build Warrior

2600BC : Found Hamburg. build Work Boat. Capital completed Warrior, build Worker. Good resource in the South too, but many jungles. Needs iron working.

2440bC : Masonary completed. Start Mysticism. (to enable the building of Stonehenge. Capital production switched to Pyramid.

2280BC : Mysticism researched. Start Pottery. Hamburg (2nd city) switch production to Stonehenge.

1960BC : Pottery researched. Start Archery. (to protect against Barbarians). Stonehenge completed. (Chopped one forest)

1800BC : Archery researched. Start Writing.

1480BC : Writing completed. Start Agriculture.

1360BC : Pyramid completed. (I must have chopped like 3-4 forest to speed the build) Switched to Representation, Slavery.

Subsequntly, I allowed Berlin population to grow & Hamburg produced it's 1st Great Prophet.

    Lessons Learnt while playing.

    1. I suggest everybody plays this to get used to the level of difficulty. what i found is :
    a) I can keep the research at 100% until the 2nd city is found
    b) the huts are good. I got a Tech, gold, experience and additional scout. nothing unpleasant.
    c) defends well against barbs. Amazingly, one of my scout (Woodmen II, on a forest tile) was not killed desite being attack by a Barb Warrior.
    d) Did not see a single Barb Archers. Barb Warrior easily dispatched off.

    2. I built Stonehenge. But since I did not find a religion, the Great Prophet was not useful. It can give me Polytheism, but i did not want. I ended up deploying it as a specialist in my City 3. >> Extra 2 hammer + some gold.

      On the prophet.

As one who rarely founds religion, I find them most usefull. Join them in the capitol, it'll often let you raise your tech rate. The hammers, I believe, get the boost from Beaurocrazy but not the gold.

I highly recommend chopping a second worker after your settler. Get's things off a lot quicker.
