Sorry, haven't been active in the past 2 weeks because of work commitment.

Will be in Bangkok from Mon to Thur.

I've been only occasionally available of late and will be so in the near future --- say, 2 to 5 weeks. I'm wrapping up my dissertation and preparing for my doctoral defense. Finally!

I'll continue to read the forums regularly, but I won't be contributing much.

I'm returning to school on the 27th. Hopefully I won't have too much trouble getting my net connection set up and such, but I may be absent for a day or two.

Family is coming into town on Sept 10 for the wedding. I'll be pretty much unavailable until Sept 19 after the honeymoon.

I am taking a break next week Japan ..... to meet up with old friends, do some shopping, and simply relax.

I will be unavailable for turnplayer duties for an indefinite period of time. My computer is down and out for the count. Either the mobo or PSU is shot. Not sure which yet as I don't have a spare PSU to test the mobo with.

I'll try to check the forum from other computers, but it will prove difficult to maintain any form of active contribution to the team for what may be a while.

I'm leaving tomorrow (U.S. wednesday) to visit family for Thanksgiving and will likely have no internet access (spotty at best) until I return to campus sometime on the weekend.

Leaving for vacation Friday night after work. The wife's uncle is letting us use his timeshare condo on the coast. We'll probably be back on the 22nd, but I hear there might be internet out there so the laptop will be coming along.

I will (hopefully) be leaving on a flight in 12 hours to return to school. Depending on how busy move-in days in and whether I have any trouble reconnecting to campus internet I might be out of touch for a while, though I'll probably be back on-line tomorrow evening.

Good luck avoiding the weather, i don't know where you go to school but half the country is either just after or just before some fun weather, so ...

One year I got bumped a day on my return to school due to blizzard (Jan '98) and ended up in first class as a result (for the first and only time) ... that was WTF awesome One more day of break, and then first class treatment!
