How should we reply to this. We need to exchange current techs again and what is being researched.

I thought we were doing writing - we will have it in 5 turns (counting next turn)

Oracle in 20 - stone benifit, hopefully 10-12 turns

I didn't want to bring that up after you announced our new area of research. You seemed so proud and decisive. Very good traits in a leader.

We'll work it out. It's their fault that they didn't get back to us for a month.

Please update the tech thread with current techs and I will see what can be done. I am more interested in keeping them talking and trading so they don't attack our puny military.

I am anxious to continue, or restart, diplomatic contact which I think was lacking under the previous Voice. It isn't his fault of course, he has been very busy recently, and had other things on his mind, and others of us Voxians should have stepped up.

We have had some exciting times, which I would like to share. I would also like to gift you with a map of our terrain and resources.

I am thinking that the map will come after the next turn, we will share what we know of GS terrain also.

We have not heard from you in a long time. We sent a message to you one month ago about the trade agreement, which we got a reply to "this is being discussed" and "expect word soon". We also sent you a friendly reminder two weeks ago, we got no reply to it. We've sent an other small recap on 25/02/2007, again without reply.

We have been in good diplomatic contact with you for almost the whole game, but have not been able to set a solid agreement in stone yet. Since we decided to focus our research on Alphabet, we also started tech negotiations with GS. In that shorter timeframe we managed to get to a binding tech trade agreement.

We would very much like to trade techs with you too, but you'll have to answer us. We will finish Alphabet at the end of next turn, and we'll be able to trade. We'll also have to choose a new tech to focus our research on. Our intent is to avoid the techs we'd get from you, but we really need them. We can choose a long far-away tech without real immediate benefits, but we will only do so if we are sure we will get these techs from you in two turns:
* Fishing
* Sailing
* Meditation
* Priesthood
You know we will give you these in return:
* Iron Working
* Writing

Please, please, please answer us...

I got, by PM, the message you posted blue color 13 hours ago.

And I answered, also by PM, saying we have writing, so I proposed

fishing,meditation and priesthood for iron working (a balanced

trade,slightly better to us and very good because more than 2 teams).

Did I make wrong? You asked me to play, trade belongs to play.

But the very strange thing is I received now an answer asking me if

we,team banana, and I knew the previous talks and that he (the

sender) expects a real team answer.

So,I understand nothing (does the guy wants a trade,just to talk

or something beyond my knowledge?).

I shall try now to forward the PM to you.

They are willing to make the trade (give us iron working for fishing,
meditation and priesthood).
I shall wait awhile for some input from yours; if nothing, I'll answer
yes, that it is binding.
