So... can someone provide a short summary of what has happened so far in the game?

Dunno how long you've been away, so main events:
1.We popped Metal Casting and started on a Forge almost immediately. After finishing forge, we set to farm a GE.

2.We finished Oracle (3 pop whip), Pyramids the next turn (GE) and Colossus the next (been building for some time + ~90h chop).

    3.We conquered Bananas.

    4.We built Great Library

5.We're now killing Vox who dowed us.

    Current stats:
We're first in score (741 vs 445 2nd place), in all relevant demographics screen ratings and tech leaders.

Currently researching: Compass, Optics to come next (Caravels to get circumvention bonus and get contact with other continent).

-- Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.

          Quite
Companions the creator seeks, not corpses, not herds and believers. Fellow creators, the creator seeks - those who write new values on new tablets. Companions the creator seeks, and fellow harvesters; for everything about him is ripe for the harvest. - Thus spoke Zarathustra, Fredrick Nietzsche
